The Association does not provide coverage for certain activities with relatively high chance of injury, as the exposure for the Association is too high. These types of events include but are not limited to hiking, intramural sports, bike rides, saddle animals, challenge courses, skiing, rock climbing, trampolines, fireworks, and parachuting.

For these events, the Association strongly recommends that the club notify the participants in advance of the event that no coverage exists. It also also the responsibility of the club officers to send the Participant Waiver & Release Agreement (.doc) to each registered participant and collect prior to the start of the event.

Boat Rental: The Association does not provide coverage for use of a boat 51 feet or longer. If you are considering utilizing a large boat for an event, contact the AAUM Business Office at [email protected] well in advance.
