Giving Days
The University of Michigan has two annual days of giving: Giving Blueday and Giving Tuesday. The Alumni Association will help clubs/affiliates with various marketing assets to assist in scholarship fundraising on the two giving occasions including:
• QR codes for funds and trackable giving links upon request for the University’s two giving days
• General marketing materials supplied by OUD on the University’s two giving days
• For club LEAD funds only: Community-funded pages at the club’s request for the University’s Giving Blue Day.
Giving Blueday
Giving Blueday is the University of Michigan’s annual day of giving. Students, faculty and staff, alumni, and so many others come together to support and raise awareness for causes across the U-M community. Giving Blueday happens annually during the spring semester, typically in the month of March.
Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a nationally recognized day of philanthropy that happens annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Giving Tuesday offers the opportunity for staff, alumni, and friends to come together and show collective impact by supporting the University and its various initiatives.
