Selecting and Notifying Award Recipient(s)
LEAD Selection
The selection process is managed by the Alumni Association program staff. Club/affiliates will not be involved in selecting the allocation of funds. After funds are allocated, the club/
affiliate will be notified of the allocation.
Stewardship Commitment for LEAD
If there are enough funds to be awarded to a student, said student will be notified by the Alumni Association program staff. Club/affiliates will receive said recipient’s contact information and profile. Club/affiliates may steward their scholar through the following methods:
- Annual Zoom call with student
- Board members will receive invites to an annual LEAD Scholars Program Reception
- Receive scholar profiles of student(s) during the fall semester
LEAD Fund Administration
If the expendable funds do not reach a minimum threshold of $20,000 and cannot fund a student, the Alumni Association will allocate the funds to the LEAD community at large, as needed and determined annually.

• LEAD Scholars Program Reception
• LEAD Senior Celebration
• Retreats to Camp Michigania
• Alumni panels
• Networking events
• Guest speaker visits
